1. What is the history of Miticulous Software Architecture Consulting Services?

   • Miticulous LLC was incorporated in the state of Texas on August 31st, 2021. Its principle business is software solutions architecture as well as coaching tips on Leadership via storytelling blogs.​

2. Does Miticulous offer Software Architecture solutions outside of Dallas?

   • Yes. Although the business is incorporated in the State of TX and the primary business location is in Dallas, Texas, the consulting service is available anywhere. Prior consultations have involved a Telecom in Europe and a Telecom in the Middle East. The Leadership Blog has subscribers throughout the world. Many of the subscribers and non-subscriber viewers are former co-workers with some now in other countries or others are former offshore co-workers. Everybody likes a good story.​

3. Does Miticulous recommend Leadership qualities?

   • The Leadership blogs are mostly stories from my working career that contain a message or tip to help leaders do some self-examination and consider whether the message behind the story applies to them and encourages them to different perspectives and different behaviors.​

4. Does Miticulous offer BSS / OSS architecture recommendations?   

   • Yes. I have spent 40+ years in Information Technology positions. I started as a developer, worked as a system engineer, and have led many teams through the beginning management level through the Senior Vice President level (at a start-up). I have extensive experience in helping to create solutions that meet customer needs and experience in implementing and maintaining large global platforms. The BSS / OSS architecture recommendations utilize that vast work experience to help other companies find, implement, and grow technology solutions that meet their business needs within the budget that they can afford.​

   • Yes. The software and hardware recommendations utilize my previous work experience and technology knowledge to help companies find, implement, and grow technology solutions that meet their business needs within the budget that they can afford. There is no one size that fits all solutions for businesses. Affordability drives the type, availability, and reliability of solutions. Good solutions may start small due to budget constraints but should be scalable and expandable to meet future growth needs and technology evolution.​

6. Can Miticulous recommend solutions for business resiliency?

   • Absolutely. Business resiliency is the most important part of a technology solution. There are lots of ways to provide resiliency to businesses. Some solutions would be high-tech solutions and others might involve lower tech solutions based on budget constraints. However, all the solutions need to account for the business operation needs and provide some degree of backup and recovery that allows business to continue operations with as little interruption as possible. Technology is an enabler to business resiliency. It needs to be applied based on business needs and priorities.​

7. Does Miticulous offer SaaS reliability and resiliency recommendations?

   • Yes. In today’s technology landscape, SaaS (Software as a Service) a Cloud based technology stacks are an easy way to reduce cost for companies to host hardware, provide production support services, and custom software development. Those costs do not go away completely with SaaS cloud-based solutions, but a business’ operational expense can be reduced dramatically while providing higher availability and reliability utilizing cloud-based solutions.​

8. Does Miticulous offer recommendations on reliability and availability?

   • Absolutely. Cloud based technology stacks are an easy way to reduce costs for companies while providing higher availability and reliability utilizing cloud-based solutions. Of course, there are non-cloud-based solutions that provide high availability and reliability through technology solutions involving Active / Active configurations, hot / standby data bases, distributed disaster recovery footprints, etc. Business needs and budget drive which type of solution is best for a given customer.​

9. Does Miticulous offer SoftwareArchitecture recommendations for Customers?

   • Yes. There are myriad software solutions via third party software providers as well as custom software. Navigating what is the best solution for a particular business is complex and time-consuming. I always found that some of the third party evaluation companies like Gartner’s Magic Quadrant, have helped to narrow down the search for a product that meets my particular needs and allow my team to do proof of concepts on two or the of those magic quadrant companies to determine what product best meets my needs. The key point is knowing and utilizing the third part sources that can help navigate the labyrinth of solutions.​

10. Can Miticulous help me work through the complexity of architecture implementations?

    • Yes. I have experience in helping to create solutions that meet customer needs and experience in implementing and maintaining large global platforms. The BSS / OSS architecture recommendations utilize that vast work experience to help other companies find, implement, and grow technology solutions that meet their business needs within the budget that they can afford. Deciding on a solution is just the first step in complex implementations. Bringing resources that support customers every way in ordering, configuring, designing, implementing, evaluating, and piloting a solution is all part of the same journey.     • Absolutely. Business resiliency is the most important part of a technology solution. There are numerous ways to provide resiliency to businesses. Some solutions would be high-tech solutions and others might involve lower tech solutions based on budget constraints. 12. Does Miticulous offer web site usability recommendations?

    • Yes. Much of my career was supporting Digital Platforms for customers --- both business and consumer customers. Usability assessments were a key part of the design and development cycle to make sure the customer facing (as well as internal apps I supported also) were good user experiences.  We effectively utilized A/B testing, pilot tests, User Acceptance tests, customer design focus groups, etc. on the applications to make sure the features being implemented provided a positive and intuitive user experience.​
