We forgive others because God forgave us. It is not because we deserved or earned forgiveness. When we do not forgive, we are playing God with others.  To become the man God intended me to be, I need to be able to forgive others unconditionally, the way that God has forgiven me. Forgiveness is paramount for us to heal on the inside.  

Leaders who make a lasting impact have a blend of clarity, courage, and compassion. These traits don’t just help in managing day-to-day operations; they build the foundation for secure, highly available IT systems that global enterprises rely on.

Sometimes we must take risks and do things that we know may have unpleasant consequences. That may involve being blackballed for doing the right thing. However, at the end of the day, we really need to hold true to ourselves and to the things we believe or know to be right despite the consequences.

We usually give up on people because of poor performance. Often people are in roles that poorly utilize their skills to the best advantage. Discovering gold on a reclamation project required taking risks and not giving up on a person who was struggling. However, in the end it was gratifying to see a person succeed in a role that matched their skills and subsequently transition from the worst performer in the wrong job to a top performer / manager in a job that matched his ski
