Stepping Above The Fray To See The Big Picture
A leader needs to be able to see the big picture and the little picture simultaneously. The leader cannot get lost in the labyrinth. Legacy - Can One Person Change the World? What is your Legacy?
From a poem by Linda Ellis entitled “The Dash”
“I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning to the end.
He noted that first came the date of the birth and spoke the following date with tears.
But he said what mattered most of all was the dash between the years."
How we invest those dash years depends on our priorities and how we choose to impact the lives of the people and world around us.
